PEER REVIEW · 16 September 2026 · SAMPLE DATA

What should
Haya feel like?

Three original directions. Twelve seeded experiments.
A hiring workspace looking for a distinctive, useful identity.

Start with your own first impression. Then inspect the intent and pressure-test it. O2 / Signal is the chosen base and now includes the revised clickable study. The other options remain available for comparison.

01 / Context

People, evidence,
and the next action.

Haya supports hiring work. The design should help recruiters and hiring teams understand what needs attention, review evidence, and make a considered next move.

02 / Scope

Judge the design
and the trade-offs.

Explore layout, type, colour, navigation and interaction hierarchy. These standalone previews contain sample records and simulated actions. Existing workflows and backend contracts are the implementation boundary.

03 / Review route

Spend 15-20 minutes.
Pick a few to probe.

Scan all options. Choose two or three. Find the overdue task, open a candidate and inspect their evidence, then identify the next step. Look at mobile too. Leave specific observations; rejecting every option is useful.

O1-O3

The original directions

Three different ways to organise everyday work.

Inlay workspace screenshotEnlarge screenshot ↗
O1

Inlay

Original
Intent + pressure test

A structured daily workspace with a restrained visual signature.

Potential benefit. The familiar hierarchy may make it easier to scan work while giving Haya a recognisable accent and cut detail.

Watch for. The composition may still feel close to a conventional SaaS dashboard. The accent alone may carry too much of the identity.

If the wordmark disappeared, what would make this recognisably Haya?

Signal workspace screenshotEnlarge screenshot ↗
O2

Signal

Original

Updated study. Revised tokens, typography, copy, Paths view and dark theme. The PDF preserves the earlier comparison round.

Intent + pressure test

A compact workspace revised against the Signal build brief, with direct copy and an adjacent candidate preview.

Potential benefit. Selection and the next action sit close together. The composition gives routine hiring work a direct, operational emphasis.

Watch for. Dense rows and familiar dashboard conventions may weaken distinctiveness. Small labels need scrutiny during extended use.

Does the preview save effort, or compete with the queue for attention?

Fold workspace screenshotEnlarge screenshot ↗
O3

Fold

Original
Intent + pressure test

An open desk that groups work around what happens next.

Potential benefit. Grouping may help people distinguish ready work, follow-ups and the day ahead without treating every item as an identical row.

Watch for. The grouping may become harder to scan as volume grows. Some information can feel scattered across columns.

At forty open tasks, would this still reveal the next useful action?

S01-S12

The seeded experiments

Three layout families with varied palette, type, edges and graphics. Their numeric seeds identify a repeatable experiment; they are not quality scores.

All twelve share Relay's sample interactions. Some trade substantial working space for brand expression. Evaluate whether those choices earn their place. Creative pairings in the seed dock are prompts, not researched provenance.

Ticket
Intent + pressure test

Ticket composition with a seeded palette, type treatment and strand graphic.

Potential benefit. The stronger visual character tests how much personality Haya can carry across the workspace, candidate dossier and foundations.

Watch for. The opening graphic occupies substantial working space. Candidate paths can fall below the first viewport.

Does the large opening panel earn its space when the actual candidate paths begin below the first screen?

How much of the billboard could be reduced while preserving the character of the type and cut detail?

R1 / OPTIONAL REFERENCE

Where the seeded structure began.

Relay introduced the hiring paths and adjacent action panel. Use it to distinguish a useful structural idea from the visual extremes added by the seeds.

YOUR CRITIQUE

Make the recommendation specific.

Separate visual preference from a usability observation. Cite an option ID, the screen and what happened. Notes stay in this tab: download them before closing.

Optional ratings: 1 = weak, 3 = workable, 5 = strong. Leave anything you did not assess blank.
